Short formats limit the number of deliveries per side and finish in a day; long formats can last several days and end in a draw with no winner. The format decides which markets exist and how they settle. A winner market in a long-format match may include the draw as a third outcome.
Main markets
Beyond the match winner there are total runs, top batter, top bowler and phase markets. Player markets have their own rules for what happens if the player does not take part or does not bat.
Rain and no-results
Rain interrupts matches often. In short formats a target-adjustment method may decide the winner with fewer deliveries; otherwise the match can be declared a no-result and winner bets voided. The operator's betting rules define what counts as a valid match.

In-play and cash out
In cricket, the fall of a batter or a change in conditions swings live odds sharply. When winnings become available
